Winter Wonderland

Merry Christmas and welcome to my winter wonderland.........

Family and friends are what Christmas is all about!

This is my red and white vintage tree. Some of the ornament's were passed down from my grandmother. The Santa's are flea market finds. Just to add a little whimsical look, the coke crate was added.

Oh look, Santa left us some Jameson and two glasses!

This is my Santa collection, If you group your collection together it will stand out and each piece will complement the other.

This pot has paper white bulbs that are just coming up and will bloom for Christmas.

Entertaining is so much fun this time of year. I always order a large prime rib and serve it with homemade mash potato and gravy. ( The recipe for the mash potato came from my friend Betty , just remember to hide the box.) The veggie, green beans with almonds and a large loaf of home made Greek bread. This year I will polish off the meal with cheese cake and black forest cake.

Every year I buy the poppers for the kids but the adults seem to like them just as much........

This large Santa Clause works well as a placement for all my gifts.

The bar is always ready for a cocktail !

What is Christmas without candy?

Our Australian cattle dog Toula is so cute, I just could not disturb her. In the living room I like to put color. The glass container has vintage bulbs passed down from family.

We are Greek and not Jewish but I love the beautiful menorah's and the different dreidels.

The village is set up for the grand-kids. There will be some broken pieces but will just glue it. The boys love to play with there match box cars here!

My Corgi has decided that he wants a turn at the couch.

A couple of years ago my husband, Michael, made me this cute butler Santa. He holds  little decorated match boxes for guest.

I would like to take you to the master bed room and two guest rooms. There is not a lot done here but the small touches make me smile.

                                                         The master bedroom.

The blue guest room.

The brown guest room.

This room did not need color so I just used vintage jewels and beads for this tree.

It takes a special room for all this to happen and that's my craft room. This is my fun room and I decorate this room, not by the rules but what makes me happy. Everyone needs a room like this.

Our brown library is so enchanting! The color on the walls are always changing depending on what time of day it is. The fresh green wreaths bring in the smell of Christmas. I love this masculine room.

Wishing your Christmas to be merry and your new year to be grand!
